forth by the State of Illinois. The three required courses address core topics that are essential to the development
of a new licensed real estate broker, including Illinois license law, agency obligations and disclosure, purchase
agreements and other contracts, fair housing, antitrust, transaction handling, working with sellers and buyers, risk
management, ethics, advertising, and professional development. The courses, which feature video advice from
experts, require students to apply their knowledge using a variety of instructional techniques, including ethical
activities, case studies, scenario-based questions, quizzes, and a practicum exercise.
